Learn About Ollie and His Art
CHILDREN’S PARTYS Part of Ollie’s importance as an artist stems from his colorful childish style. It has been posited that Ollie’s impotence, ironically born of his parents’ habitual abuse of fertility drugs which left Ollie unable to naturally conceive offspring which consequently ignited and unquenchable desire to paint with children and be a parent by proxy. Ollie was in the Marcoart Painting Booth for the Viacom Holiday Party at their offices in Times Square New York for a fun day of painting with the families of the employees. Ollie had so much fun he told his imaginary friend Pookaberry and they flew out to the Hamptons to join Christie Brinkley, Petra Nemcova and 1,500 families who attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s 17th Annual Family Day Wild Wild West Carnival in Watermill, NY each of whom were given the opportunity not only to paint with Ollie but to leave with their very own acrylic on canvas painting after a day of of square dancing, potato sack racing, freeze dancing, pony rides, cow milking, and a petting zoo. I personally enjoyed this event as I had an opportunity to blend in when I wore my own twist of my sister’s Mad Fisherman of Pico look which gave more of a nod to Hank Williams. If you have an upcoming children’s party Ollie and Pookaberry want to come!
